Aug 30, 2026 - The Shift
Life has a way of pulling the ground out from under us without warning. A relationship ends, a door closes, a season shifts, and suddenly we find ourselves standing in unfamiliar territory, caught between what was and what has not yet arrived. This message takes us deep into that uncomfortable space and calls it what it is: the shift. Drawing from the extraordinary life of Joseph in Genesis, we are reminded that God rarely hands us a blueprint for the journey. He gives us a promise, then walks us through a process that looks nothing like what we imagined. Joseph saw people bowing in his dreams, but he did not see the pit, the false accusations, or the prison. Yet through every painful chapter, one truth kept surfacing: the Lord was with Joseph. Not just in the palace, but in the pit. Not just at the moment of promotion, but in the dungeon. That same presence is available to us in every season we face. The shift is not a sign that God has abandoned us. It is often the very place where He is doing His deepest work in us, shaping our character, refining our faith, and preparing us for what is ahead. The question this message leaves us with is not when will things change, but who are we becoming while everything around us is changing.
